Golf Course / Pro Shop Hours of Operation

March 15 thru October 31

             Monday 12:00 pm - Dusk (see note 7)

             Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 am - Dusk

             Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 7:00 am - Dusk

                             

             November 1 thru March 14

             Monday 12:00 pm - Dusk

             Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00 am - Dusk

             Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 9:00 am - Dusk 

             

 

Notes:

1) Please call the Pro Shop at 301-934-2433 ext. 2 to confirm the status of the golf course.

2) Holidays at Hawthorne are all Federal holidays except for Christmas Day.  They include: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day. On Christmas Day the golf course will be closed and no carts will be available.

3) The golf course will open at 12 pm on any Tuesday that follows a Monday holiday.

4) The golf course will be closed at any time weather conditions are such that continuing play could be dangerous for golfers or could cause damage to the golf course. The course will be reopened when safe weather conditions resume. Examples include: frost or snow on the greens, lightning, severe wind, severe rain or excessively wet conditions.

5) The golf course may be closed on days when the projected high temperature for the day is less than 32 degrees F.

6) The Pro Shop may be closed any time the golf course is closed to play.

7) Hawthorne defines dusk as 30 minutes after sunset.

* Carts will not be available for use approximately 1 hour prior to closing.  All carts must be returned before dusk.
